Purdue lost to Minnesota :-(

Dear Bloggy,

I don't know why i haven't felt like talking to you in a while. Let's start with today and work backwards in time with what happened. This should be fun...?

Today was the ESA Bid Day Cookout. It was fun. The food was good. But Purdue lost and we were all very devastated! Crazy overtime games. Has Purdue ever won an overtime game? This morning I was in Indy and Dylan made me eggs for breakfast.

Friday night I was in Indy for a Ray LaMontagne concert with the Hams. It was really great! The opening act was amazing too. Before the concert we ate dinner...it was at the music mill so it's like a restaurant one one side and a performance place on the other side. It was sweeeeeet. Friday i was so exhausted because i had studied so much for my Dynamics exam. The exam went fine I think.

Thursday night I tried to go study with Darrel in the library. We didn't study much. We ended up going to Steak and Shake instead. It was our first date. Thursday I also had CHAPS which was a lot of fun! Thursday afternoon i went in for my second drug test for my new job. I peed like an insane amount. Thursday morning there was a 7:30AM review session for dynamics which contributed to my exhaustion.

Wednesday night I stayed up a lot later than I wanted to.

Backing all the way up to Monday morning...I had to quit a job at the media distribution center before ever having worked there. It went suprisingly well.

Sunday the Colts won and I was happy happy happy. Sunday morning I got a call offering me a job at the Chao Center which is why I had to quit the other job on Monday. Earlier Sunday morning Dylan and I visited my cousin at Bloomington Bagel.

Saturday was Dylan's birthday. Sat night we just hung out in Ben's new apartment. I hung out a lot with Meghan and Evan and Lamo. It was good times. We went out to dinner before the party at Cheeseburger in Paradise. I had the most amazing drink ever. Saturday I watched IU murder Kentucky on the TV. We tailgated before the game. We ate "breakfast" at around 12.

Friday night I saw a lot of people from high school out at the bars. Dylan had a birthday shot at midnight. It was so much fun hanging out with the IU people. Plus Molly, Nicole, Marty, and Maggie were in town. We hung out with them, too. Friday evening we ate out at Snow Lion, Dylan's fav restaurant down there. It was sweeeeet. Sometime maybe I'll get these pictures online!

Yeah I can't go back any farther blog. I'm sorry. But yeah I have a lot of homework to do and I don't wanna do it. stupid 535. tonight we're going to charlie's brother's band's concert. I wanna see the movie Flightplan. Tomorrow the Colts will play and they will hopefully win or I will go into a week long depression. I start my new job Monday morning. Hopefully my drug test comes up clear (*crossed fingers*). I'm a working girl! Which is good cause I have no fucking money, esp since I had to buy an airplane ticket. Oh yeah the ticket was because Dylan's brother is getting married January 6th when we would normally still be in Key West. So boooooo. But yay for a wedding! This will prepare me for Katie's wedding in June.

Today Katie called Lara, Laura....it was hilarious.

I love you <~~ this only applied to some people who are reading this

There ARE some things that make me happy

Dear Blogert,

For the most part, I am completely fed up with my life as it's going right now. But I'm going to start with all the positive things in my life!

First I started CHAPS this Thursday. I love doing CHAPS. Last year, you know I just worked with the horses and only got to kind of chat with the kids and occasionally help in lessons. Well, this year I'll be volunteering in lessons as a leader (I have a line attached to the horse's halter so I can lead it around...but mostly we try to let the kids lead the horse, even if it's wrong). So I'm working with a girl named Rachel. She's funny. I can definitely look forward to Thursdays to lift my spirits.

Second I went to Chicago. But not for long enough :-(. I drove up there Friday afternoon to visit my roommate from Boulder, Emily. She was playing an Ultimate Tournament in Naperville, but had gotten to IL early to hang out in the windy city. So I wanted to meet up with her. I should have just skipped all my classes on Friday and gone up Thursday night. But I'm lame...sooo.... Anyway, we saw Millenium park and went to Navy Pier and ate dinner. Three of her friends from A&M who are also on her Ultimate team were there. It was great. We stayed the night at Emily's friend's aunt's house. It was almost as nice as my house, but not quite.....YEAH RIGHT! This neighborhood was incredible!! Emily and I slept in the same bed which is fine cause we're best friends but weird because it was only the 6th day we've spent together!!!!! Unbelievable. When she is the maid of honor at my wedding, it will probably be like our 3rd time seeing each other ever. We've already made plans to see each other over spring break. So I really hope that works out...I got to see Emily play Ultimate, too. Unfortunately they lost the game I watched. I was unlucky :-(. I bought a t-shirt from the tournament so I'll remember it forever! The time went so fast, and I'd been looking forward to it since like July...bummer.

Next Saturday is Dylan's birthday. I don't know what to get him. Tell me what I should get him. Ok thanks.

So those are the positive things in my life. The negative thing is school. Thursday (same day as CHAPS), i just had a total breakdown about what I'm doing. I think I'm coming to terms with the fact that I picked the wrong major. I mean maybe, Blog, you're shocked to read this, but I'm shocked too. It seemed so right for so long. Now, though it's like I got close, but not quite on the bullseye as to what I want to do. Not that I actually know what I want to do...but details, details. I don't regret picking meteorology because it's been a great experience and amazing background, and obviously I'll have a degree in it in 8 months. Plus it's how I got to go to Boulder and meet Emily. And of course there's Darrel...

On a side note, my brother got in this terrible biking accident right before Labor Day Weekend. He's been practically dying. He's in a sling. He ripped all his tendons in his shoulder...like the ones that hold his collarbone in place. So he looks like a freak now, apparently. He's in a lot of pain. Also he got an infection from all the like abrasions. It especially sucked because he was supposed to come to IN for that weekend :-/ Poor Bookie.

Until later then, Bloggy.
