I don't even know any more

Hey Bloggy,

Dude, what is up? I was on facebook and I saw how you were listed as one of my websites. So I came to check you out and it was hilarious reading about how my life was over one year ago....hilarious bc it is exactly the f-ing same. :-) And by same I mean completely different, since that last blog was written before the Colts were world champions, and now they are world champions, so my life is completely different.

No, but seriously, have you missed me? I could fill you in on my life over the past year, but that probably wouldn't be fun. So let's start fresh as if this was a brand new blog and I was rambling on about my life.

Today I stayed home from work because I felt like crap. Looking back I probably should have just toughed it out and worked through it, but oh well. Now I'm going to work tomorrow (normally a day off) to make up for today. I am eating a ham wrap now. Hopefully I won't start feeling really sick like everything else I've been eating has been making me feel. Maybe I am pregnant like Jamie Lynn Sears.

My tortoise Jack sometimes gets filled with rage when we let him walk around our apartment. He is very intimidating for a tiny little adorable tortoise. He exhibits this rage by banging the front of his shell against stuff he doesn't like. He hates our new TV stand. Granted, our new TV stand is pretty f-ing weird, but it was $20 or something so what are you gonna do. Speaking of things that fulfill my life, we don't really have cable TV anymore. It's actually not that bad, I'm starting to get used to the idea that I don't have to watch TV to be happy. We still have Bravo and Discovery Channel and MTV2 and TBS and USA and A&E and we randomly get on demand movies for free. It is hard to explain.

Dylan got me new tires for Christmas this year....not very sexy, but I'm super happy because it is the most expensive gift anyone has ever gotten me in my whole entire life. Except for my wedding which my parents are paying for. My wedding is going to cost more than my new tires did: good news for those of you who will be there. Speaking of the wedding: planning my wedding has so far been the easiest thing I have ever done in my lifetime. I'm serious. And at this point I am sort of bored with planning it. I mean give me a challenge for pete's sake. i sort of was given a challenge when I found out that balloons are not allowed in the reception place. And then I was like "well maybe the tables just won't have centerpieces" and that sort of ended that challenge. I mean who the hell cares? Is anyone going to remember what my centerpieces looked like anyway? Dylan and I are NOT writing our own vows. This is Dylan's doing....I thought it would be nice. But the other day we did pick out what we're going to say...very romantico. It was hilarious reading the vows with Dylan because he thought everything sounded stupid. He wanted the vows to be "I love you and coodle you and madrigalnation." Which about sums us up, I guess. So i guess we sort of ended up writing our own vows together using bits and pieces from different vows we found online.

We have no plans for Christmas Eve or for Christmas yet. I'm afraid that Christmas will just turn into another day off for the both of us instead of something important: Jesus' 2000th+ birthday. We both work the days surrounding christmas so it's not like we going do anything special anyway. Oh well.

I'm concerned because I don't think there is going to be a new Project Runway on tonight. I don't know why. It makes me sad. I will turn my TV to Bravo at 8 p.m. and see what's up. And yes that is the time that it is on here. The one horrible thing about not having cable is that Girls Next Door has started up. So far I have secretly downloaded the episodes off of iTunes. Yes $2 is a ridiculous amount to pay for 23 minutes of crazy blonde ladies with fake boobs, but I just have to, ok?

Last thing before I go: Dylan and I have been apartment hunting recently bc our current lease runs out on Feb. 29 (happy birthday, CDubs), but we can't afford any place else (literally, we've looked at all the managed apts in Longmont) so looks like we're staying put.

Looking forward to our trip to Key West and most importantly our trip back to Indy for the wedding of the century.

Since I may not post for another year: I hope 2008 is great!
